This Twin Naga amulet (Naga Kiew) is an exceptional creation by Por Sala Tan, carrying both deep symbolic power and unique material history.

Historical and Material Significance

The body of the amulet was carved from the wood of a boat once used to ferry monks and holy men. This vessel had a sacred role, transporting practitioners to the Mekong River—long regarded as the spiritual home of the Nagas—for water-based rituals and ceremonies common in Northeast and Southern Thailand. By using this relic wood, the amulet absorbs the accumulated merit and sanctity of countless journeys and blessings connected to monastic and ritual life.

Por Sala Tan harmonized the piece further with a large central takrut, tightly bound with sacred cord. This ensures the energies of the Nagas are stabilized and directed toward the wearer with clarity and force. Measuring 2.5 inches, the piece commands presence while remaining practical for wear or enshrinement.
