Phra Khun Paen — Pim Lek

Por Nan Anon · B.E. 2560 (2017)

The sacred materials are carefully hand-mixed before each amulet is individually hand-pressed, resulting in natural variations that make every piece unique.

Personal Experiences Shared by Luksits

The reputation of Por Nan Anon's Phra Khun Paen was built long before the internet or social media introduced his work to a wider audience. More than thirty years ago, his earliest Khun Paen batches began circulating among local collectors and followers, and it was the experiences of those early luksits that gradually established his name throughout Northern Thailand.

Many male devotees returned with remarkably similar accounts. They spoke of receiving unexpected attention from women, conversations becoming easier and relationships developing more naturally than before. These stories spread quietly from one collector to another, and over the years Por Nan Anon's Khun Paen became recognised as one of the amulets most closely associated with his Maha Saneh wiccha.

Today, more than three decades later, his Khun Paen continues to be sought after by people working in sales, customer-facing professions and those hoping to find a life partner. One long-time female luksit shared that despite wanting a relationship, she struggled to meet someone suitable. After beginning to wear one of Por Nan Anon's Khun Paen amulets, the atmosphere at work gradually changed and one of her colleagues eventually asked her on a date. After finding happiness in her relationship, she passed the amulet to her brother. Within only a few weeks, he too met someone and entered a relationship of his own. Their family has remained devoted followers of Por Nan Anon ever since, often sharing this experience with new collectors.

As with all traditional Thai sacred objects, these accounts reflect the personal experiences of devotees rather than guaranteed outcomes.

Summary

Created in B.E. 2560 (2017), this Phra Khun Paen Pim Lek reflects Por Nan Anon's traditional Lanna approach to Maha Saneh, Metta Maha Niyom and favourable opportunities. At its heart is Pong Prai Gaduk Pee, a specialised Prai ritual powder blended with sacred Saneh herbs and ritual ingredients before undergoing consecration according to his lineage.

The reverse houses two individually handwritten silver takruts, while every amulet also receives a handwritten yant, making each piece the result of direct ritual preparation. Collectors traditionally carry this Khun Paen to cultivate personal charm, harmonious relationships, smoother communication and opportunities that develop through positive human connections.

Historical Background

Phra Khun Paen has long been one of Thailand's most respected amulet forms for Maha Saneh and Metta Maha Niyom. For generations it has been carried by merchants, professionals and business owners who understood that trust, goodwill and strong relationships often become the foundation of success.

Within Por Nan Anon's lineage, this classic amulet is prepared using Pong Prai Gaduk Pee, sacred herbs and handwritten ritual elements. The combination preserves the traditional character of Khun Paen while incorporating the distinctive Prai wiccha for which his lineage has become known.

Sacred Materials & Ritual

The body of the amulet is formed from Pong Prai Gaduk Pee blended with sacred herbs traditionally associated with attraction, goodwill and harmonious relationships. Following the preparation of the sacred powder mixture, Por Nan Anon embeds two individually handwritten silver takruts into the reverse before completing each piece with a handwritten yant.

Every stage of preparation reflects the traditional Lanna practice of combining sacred materials with direct ritual work, producing an amulet whose purpose centres on attraction, positive relationships and favourable opportunities.

Traditional Blessings

Collectors traditionally seek this Phra Khun Paen to strengthen Maha Saneh, Metta Maha Niyom and personal magnetism. Whether worn for business, customer relationships, negotiations or everyday social interaction, its traditional purpose is to encourage warmth, trust and genuine rapport with those around the wearer.

Within Thai belief, these qualities naturally extend into commerce, where favourable relationships often lead to returning customers, useful introductions and opportunities that appear through positive human connections.

Physical Details

This Pim Lek (small mould) edition was created in B.E. 2560 (2017). The front depicts Phra Khun Paen in meditation, while the reverse contains two handwritten silver takruts together with an individually inscribed yant. The natural earthy tone reflects its sacred powder and herbal composition, with each handmade piece displaying subtle variations unique to its preparation.

Recommended Pairing

Because this Khun Paen focuses on Maha Saneh and Metta Maha Niyom, it pairs especially well with Baramee-oriented amulets such as a Phra Kring or Somdej. Together they complement one another by combining attraction and harmonious relationships with authority, merit, respect and spiritual presence, creating a balanced combination suitable for both personal and professional life.
