While walking through an accessory factory in Bangkok, I happened to pass a small workshop. The owner was standing outside, and he looked familiar. After a brief conversation, I realised he was one of the brothers behind a well-known steel amulet necklace company.

He explained that he had started his own factory after the brothers went their separate ways. Although his brand is far less well known, the manufacturing quality and production methods are virtually identical to the more famous company. The main difference is the price—his products are more than 50% cheaper.

Many of the low-cost steel necklaces commonly sold in Singapore for around S$10–20 are made from lower-grade materials with coarse workmanship. The rough edges can feel abrasive against the skin and are noticeably less comfortable to wear. In contrast, these necklaces have a smooth, well-finished surface, making them far more comfortable for daily use and exceptional value for the price.

Demand from local dealers is extremely strong, and most of his production had already been fully booked. As a result, I was only able to secure 15 pieces from the display stock in his showroom.
