Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen, Bangkok – BE 2514 (1971)

The Phra Dhammakhan is the fourth generation of Wat Paknam’s Phra Khongkhan amulets, created in BE 2514 (1971). It marks the first batch made after the passing of Luang Phor Wat Paknam (Luang Phor Sodh Candasaro) in 2502, and was produced in two main forms – rectangular and triangular molds – with a combined issue of about 800,000 pieces.

Its sacred powder mixture was formed from remnants of Models 1, 2, and 3, which had been safeguarded by the temple. By carrying the very material consecrated by Luang Phor Sodh, the batch preserved the essence of his original creation.

The consecration was undertaken with strict adherence to the Dhammakaya method. For three months during the rains retreat, senior monks and early disciples of Luang Phor Sodh, including Phra Ratchaprommothon (Weera Khanatammo), performed uninterrupted Dhammakaya practice and empowerment until the amulets were formally released at the end of Vassa on 23 October 2515 (1972).

Though created after his lifetime, the Phra Dhammakhan has been consistently recognized as holding the same potency and efficacy as earlier generations. Its blessings focus on:

• Protection and Invulnerability – numerous accounts of survival from bullets and wartime violence.

• Life Preservation – turning back danger and accidents in critical moments.

• Merit and Stability – anchoring the devotee in both spiritual strength and material steadiness.

From its release until 2527 (1984), this batch continued to be empowered through ongoing Dhammakaya rites, giving it over a decade of continuous charging.
