In the heart of Bangkok, within the sacred grounds of Wat Bowonniwet Vihara, resides a revered Buddha image known as Prah Paripinut. This sacred figure holds a timeless legacy intertwined with Thai royalty and deep spiritual power.
A Buddha That Ends All Hostilities
Long ago, when King Mongkut (Rama IV) was still a monk at Wat Bowonniwet, he received this unique Mahayana-style image depicting the Abhaya Mudra—a hand gesture of fearlessness and divine protection.
During this time, he faced relentless opposition from political and personal enemies. But one by one, these threats collapsed under their own schemes. It was almost supernatural.
The monk-king named the statue Prah Paripinut, meaning "The Buddha who brings the downfall of enemies." And it lived up to its name—again and again.
A Royal Comsecration
Fast forward to 1952 (B.E. 2495), in honor of the 80th birthday of Somdet Phra Sangharaja (the Supreme Patriarch), Wat Bowonniwet commissioned the first generation of Prah Paripinut amulets—a sacred series blessed under royal patronage and filled with spiritual force.
Not Just Legend—Real-Life Power
People speak of Prah Paripinut’s legendary ability to protect, but I’ve personally experienced its raw spiritual energy.
I had a competitor in Golden Mile Centre—a fellow amulet dealer—who tried to slander me and undercut my work behind my back. I didn’t retaliate.
I just wore my Prah Paripinut and let the energy do the rest. Within months, his shop was closed. His own envy, greed, and negative energy swallowed him whole.
It was like watching the name of this amulet come to life. He was defeated by his own karma—automatically.
Spiritual Benefits
Deflects gossip, jealousy, and psychic attacks
Causes enemies to self-destruct through their own darkness
Brings mental clarity and spiritual shielding
Elevates your aura, attracting protection and respect
A Rare Opportunity
Owning a Prah Paripinut is more than collecting history—it’s wearing a fortress. A spiritual force field. These amulets are rare and becoming harder to find, especially from the sacred 2495 batch.
