**Locket of Master Bobo Aung

Created by Master Sri Ong, Chiang Dao – Burmese Relic Lineage**

This locket was made by Master Sri Ong of Chiang Dao using relic materials personally collected from Burma. Each piece carries the signature of the Red-Medicine lineage: on the reverse sits Patthama Siddhi medicine, a rare alchemical compound used by Burmese hermits to stabilise meditation and strengthen protective force around the wearer. The surface is anointed with consecrated red oil and sealed with a teacher-honouring cloth takrut, completing the full structure of a traditional Burmese locket.

The production follows two consecrated batches:

  • Gold-background, gold-takrut, 99 pieces – filled with Burmese sacred herbs and medicines associated with compassion, attraction, favour, and the expansion of one’s spiritual presence.

  • Blue-background, silver-takrut, 399 pieces – containing the same high-grade Burmese compounds emphasising metta, blessing, and smoothness in human connection.

These batches were created for those who seek a connection to one of the most respected hermit lineages of the Shan and Burmese world, especially the masters of the Red-Medicine tradition.

The Ten Masters of Red Medicine

Among communities in the Shan states, Burma, and the Mon regions, ten hermits are recognised as the peak of this esoteric system. Their names—Maha Osot Wicha, Sajja Min, Sang Wicha, Phu Tor Eh, Ong Wicha, Pho Min Khong, Bobo Aung, Swe Wicha, Phu Tor Piew, and Phu Tor Pui—form a closed lineage of teachers who mastered both meditation and alchemical practice.

Their systems do not separate spiritual attainment from worldly protection. A devotee who carries the blessing of even one of these masters—whether through mantra, tattoo, or locket—is considered secure from poisonous forces, sorcery, malicious intent, ill-will, and unseen harm. The baramee of the teacher is believed to overshadow the devotee, creating a field where obstacles cannot take root.

Master Bobo Aung – Hermit of Pagan and Holder of Deep Attainments

Among these ten, Bobo Aung stands apart for his exceptional spiritual maturity. He is remembered as a hermit who travelled the inner path to completion—mastering kasina meditation, high jhanic states, mantra science, ritual consecration, and the alchemy of transforming metals and herbs into vessels of spiritual power. His presence became so significant that Mount Popa—the centre of Burmese nat veneration—created a dedicated chamber to honour him. Pilgrims still visit this site to pay respect and meditate upon his image.

Bobo Aung is often portrayed with loose hair, seated cross-legged, holding a teacup. It is an image that reflects ease, clarity, and the effortless authority of one who has already surpassed the boundaries of ordinary perception.

The Immortal Masters – Bobo Aung and Pho Min Khong

Red-Medicine tradition maintains that two masters remain alive across the ages: Bobo Aung and Pho Min Khong. They completed the full system of meditation, mantra, and alchemy, but through opposite routes—one ascending through each stage in proper order, the other mastering the most difficult teachings first and moving backward toward the basics.

Both vowed to remain in the world until the arrival of the next Buddha, Metteyya. Their task is to continue uplifting those who seek refuge in truth, and to protect the Dhamma until the next turning of the wheel. In this narrative, their baramee does not diminish with time; instead it permeates Mount Popa in a subtle realm unseen to ordinary eyes.

Those who remember them, chant their names, or wear their image are believed to receive shelter, compassion, and inner strength directly from the lineage.

For Seekers of Baramee, Wish Fulfilment, and Breakthrough

A locket of Bobo Aung is traditionally chosen by three groups of devotees:

1. Those seeking baramee

Baramee is the spiritual force that shapes one’s trajectory—authority, personal presence, moral weight, and the energetic momentum needed for advancement. Without baramee, people may possess skill or opportunity but lack the unseen “fuel” that propels growth.
Bobo Aung’s locket strengthens this field around the wearer. It is especially valued by individuals in leadership, negotiation-heavy industries, or any environment where one must influence decisions and command respect without aggression.

2. Those seeking wish-granting and direct intervention

In Burma, Bobo Aung is regarded as a hermit who responds swiftly to sincere requests. His vow to remain in the world until the future Buddha creates a channel through which devotees ask for guidance, health, removal of dangers, and fulfilment of heartfelt wishes.
The relics and medicines sealed in this locket act as a physical anchor for that connection. It is often kept on personal altars or worn daily by those who require consistent divine support.

3. Those seeking breakthroughs in business and finance

The Red-Medicine lineage is closely associated with clearing stagnation. Traders, merchants, and business owners have historically turned to Bobo Aung when facing entrenched obstacles—blocked negotiations, competitors engaging in harmful tactics, financial stagnation, or career ceilings.
The energetic signature of Bobo Aung is not merely protective; it is catalytic. Devotees use his blessing to generate forward movement, sharpen intuition, open opportunities, and dissolve unseen resistance in their professional path.
