The Prah Ngan amulets crafted by Por Sala Tan are highly prized among modern practitioners and collectors due to his expertise in drawing out the spiritual essence of potent materials. As a top-level wiccha master, Por Sala Tan incorporates elements like corpse cloth soaked in nam man phrai (NMP, or oil derived from ritual practices), melted coffin nails, bone ash relics, various oils for charm and hypnotism, hand-inscribed talismans, and sacred strings.
Each material is believed to possess distinct spiritual energies: corpse cloth and NMP amplify the connection to the spirit world, enabling strong spiritual intervention, while coffin nails and bone relics carry protective and mystical properties, anchoring the amulet’s energy to realms beyond the material.
Oils and specific inscriptions enhance charm and attraction (seneh), making the bearer more influential and appealing in social contexts.
Numerous accounts from wearers illustrate the Prah Ngan’s reputed effects. Local teachers have noted increased respect and admiration from their students, while some government officials credit these amulets for smoother negotiations and enhanced charisma.
Everyday users, including postmen and shopkeepers, report that the Prah Ngan has brought them better social acceptance, enhanced confidence, and even financial prosperity. These experiences reflect the historical legacy of Prah Ngan amulets, demonstrating their deep-rooted value in Southeast Asian occult culture, where spiritual practices are closely intertwined with daily life.
