This Hoon Payoon is crafted from relic material recovered from the ruins of the oldest known temple in Fang, dating back over 600 years. The relics—believed to be remains of monks and holy masters—were discovered when an ancient stupa, long untended and located on state land, finally eroded and collapsed. With no abbot or caretaker, the site remained untouched for centuries. However, experienced holymen and learned masters could feel the strong aura emanating from the site when the stupa broke.

Being near Por Sala Tan’s home, he personally went to recover a portion of the relics and shared them with respected Arjans in the area. These materials were considered ideal for creating Hoon Payoon, and this piece follows the Burmese-style construction. The body is formed from the relics, with a “heart” bound in cloth at the chest—a ritual step believed to animate the guardian spirit within.

This is a powerful spiritual protector, effective against evil spirits, malice, betrayal, and occult harm. It represents an extinct wiccha—the knowledge and process now nearly lost due to the scarcity of authentic materials and the disappearance of traditional crafting methods. Unlike modern, mass-produced talismans that flood the market, this Hoon Payoon carries the weight of genuine relics, authentic ceremony, and the spirit of a lineage that cannot be replicated by factory means.
