According to village accounts, the passing of this particular animal was unusual and powerful, causing the remains to be regarded as possessing exceptionally concentrated spiritual energy. Because of the strength associated with the material, Por Sala Tan chose not to produce his usual Wa Thanoo-related pieces. Instead, he transformed the material into a Rahu dedicated to fortune transformation, wealth attraction, and the strengthening of Baramee.

The front depicts Rahu holding a donated coin that once belonged to a successful millionaire. The symbolism combines Rahu's traditional role as a force capable of altering destiny with the accumulated merit and prosperity associated with wealth that has already manifested in the material world.

Historical Background

Throughout Northern Thailand, village masters have long maintained relationships with farmers, hunters, craftsmen, and families who preserve unusual ritual materials for future ceremonial use. Por Sala Tan was particularly respected within his community, allowing him access to materials rarely offered to outsiders.

When such materials became available, he would compensate the owners financially while also providing blessed amulets in return. This practice ensured that the family was cared for while the material continued its journey through ritual transformation.

After obtaining this particular relic, Por Sala Tan reportedly remarked that the energy present was unusually strong and suitable for a larger purpose than its original intended use. Rather than producing a conventional village charm, he envisioned a Rahu focused on changing fortune, increasing wealth opportunities, and building lasting Baramee for its owner.

The resulting piece became part of his Duang Setthi concept, combining traditional Rahu symbolism with materials selected specifically for prosperity and destiny enhancement.

Origins of the Materials
