Por Sala Tan often approached these smaller carvings differently from larger ceremonial pieces. Instead of building them purely for altar use, he made many specifically for portability and constant contact with the wearer. The main carving material comes from gaduk chang graden, a material long respected within older Northern and Burmese-influenced ritual circles for authority, attraction, and stabilising personal presence. The rear section contains several hand-rolled seneh takruts tied with red threading and sealed against a dark ritual backing mass. Takruts prepared for attraction work were commonly empowered using Hua Jai yantra formulas together with metta and social harmony invocations.

The dark rear compound also carries the appearance of old herbal and sacred powder blending methods commonly seen in smaller village-made wearable pieces.

Por Sala Tan’s seneh ceremonies were often quieter and more private compared to larger public blessing events. Many were conducted late at night after regular temple activity had ended, especially when dealing with attraction formulas or relationship-related intentions.
