Barang/Spirit Based Item

Deity / Master

This piece originates from Por Sala Tan during a period when he frequently handled liberation cases involving unmarked grave sites and rural hauntings. His work focused on resolving disturbances that affected entire communities, and certain items created during these interventions were kept privately at his residence rather than circulated.

Historical Background

The container is a traditional Thai makeup case, repurposed by Por Sala Tan as a vessel for this Mae Prai. The case was discovered as part of an offering at an unmarked grave. Local farmers reported persistent disturbances—livestock dying, unexplained accidents, and an atmosphere that remained unsettled for years.

These situations were common in older rural areas, where burial grounds were informal and rarely documented. The lingering energy from such sites often became disruptive to the surrounding land. Por Sala Tan was called to examine the location and confirmed that the haunting was strong enough to require a complete liberation ritual.

Inside the case he placed:

  • A Mae Prai roop lor cast using iron nails

  • A strip of monk’s robe

  • NMP wax for sealing and stabilising the liberated energy

During the casting process, the Mae Prai figure turned pale rather than taking on the usual metallic finish. This was regarded by Por Sala Tan as a direct indicator of the strength and density of the yin field involved.

For many years, Por Sala Tan kept this piece in his own residence, using it selectively for cases requiring decisive and immediate resolution.

Blessings and Effects

The function of this Mae Prai is straightforward: it is designed for intervention in situations involving obstruction, injustice, and targeted pressure. Its strength lies in clarity and direction—not general influence.

Three major effects have been consistently noted:

  1. Clearing of Obstacles Caused by External Pressure
The piece responds strongly to situations where the wearer is being unfairly hindered or targeted.

  2. Stabilisation of Personal and Environmental Energy
This type of Mae Prai helps neutralise disruptive forces directed toward an individual’s livelihood or workplace.

  3. Unexpected Opportunities and Positive Direction
Once the obstruction is removed, the wearer often experiences shifts in personal confidence, social momentum, and relationship development.

Documented Case

One long-time disciple, who owned a cement factory, approached Por Sala Tan for help. His competitor had been bribing officials and initiating false complaints to disrupt his business operations. Por Sala Tan selected this Mae Prai and handed it to him.

Within one month:

  • The investigations turned in his favour.

  • The competitor’s misconduct was exposed and resulted in imprisonment.

  • The factory owner’s business stabilised and subsequently expanded.

  • He also formed a significant personal relationship during this period, despite being a quiet, work-focused individual.

This outcome reinforced the classification of this Mae Prai as a focused, corrective item rather than a general attraction charm.

Materials

  • Traditional metal makeup case

  • Mae Prai roop lor cast from iron nails

  • Monk’s robe cloth

  • NMP wax

  • Internal inscriptions by Por Sala Tan

  • Original sealing cloth from his early altar setup

The internal components remain intact and unchanged.

Lineage and Transfer

The piece remained with the cement factory owner—one of Por Sala Tan’s largest collectors, holding more than 10,000 items. When I visited him, he recounted dreaming of this Mae Prai “leaving the country” prior to my arrival. During that visit, when I requested to acquire pieces for study and preservation, this Mae Prai was one of the first he brought forward.
