Deity / Symbolism
This sacred Burmese amulet depicts a royal couple standing side by side, reminiscent of King Anawrahta and Queen Shwe Einthi of the Pagan Dynasty. Anawrahta (reigned 1044–1077 CE) was the unifier of Myanmar and founder of the Pagan Empire, while Queen Shwe Einthi represented grace, compassion, and spiritual devotion. Together, they symbolize the harmony of power and virtue — the balance between worldly rule and spiritual merit. In Burmese cosmology, such pairings embody the dual principles of hpone (authority and glory) and myitta (loving-kindness), aligning closely with the Khmer concept of the king and queen as divine embodiments of strength and wisdom.

Historical Background
The Pagan era marked the consolidation of Theravāda Buddhism as the state religion, with Anawrahta credited for bringing Buddhist scriptures from Thaton and enshrining them in Pagan. His reign united the Burmese heartlands and established centuries of Buddhist kingship. Queen Shwe Einthi, though less politically documented, is remembered in chronicles as a consort of great piety, supporting monastic foundations and merit-making acts. Amulets inspired by this royal pair were occasionally produced in Northern Burma and Tai Yai regions to invoke the protection and prosperity associated with righteous kingship.

Blessings and Effects
This amulet draws upon baramee — accumulated spiritual merit — to grant the wearer authority, respect, and harmonious relationships. The dual figures reinforce balance: masculine energy for leadership and protection, feminine energy for compassion and attraction. Such pieces are traditionally worn by leaders, business owners, or those seeking to strengthen their influence while maintaining fairness and emotional grounding.

Materials
The front is crafted from sacred Burmese clay mixed with temple soil and relic dust, while the reverse includes embedded takruts (magical scrolls), a central relic bead, and twin golden figures representing divine attendants or royal guardians. These embedded elements signify protection from harm, attraction of benefactors, and stabilization of personal fortune. The materials follow the old Burmese formula — relic powder (gaduk), sacred forest earth, and metallic yantra strips — to connect with both elemental and spiritual forces.

Usage in Modern Life
For modern devotees, this amulet serves as a symbol of balance between worldly success and spiritual integrity. It is favored by those in leadership, negotiation, or business roles, providing calm authority and protection against deceit or misfortune. When placed on a personal altar or worn daily, it reminds the bearer of the legacy of just rule and the harmony between strength and compassion — virtues embodied by the royal couple of Pagan Burma.
