Lersi’s Golden Finger – Forged Kao Kwaang Relic by Por Sala Tan

This sacred Lersi’s Golden Finger, measuring over seven inches in length, was crafted by Por Sala Tan from the remains of Kao Kwaang relic material — a sacred medium reserved for advanced spiritual tools of command and invocation. The figure, carved entirely by hand, depicts a Lersi in full ritual regalia, holding his staff and carrying the wisdom of the ancient naga wicha. The lower section, plated in gold, represents the “golden finger” — the channel through which spiritual commands are sent forth.

Por Sala Tan created this piece during a period of deep meditative retreat, under direct guidance from Lersi Narod Payanak, the celestial sage associated with transformation, healing, and naga power. It was said that during meditation, he received the image of this Lersi — not from imagination, but from direct vision — and carved accordingly, preserving the gestures and markings exactly as they appeared to him.

The piece was later co-empowered by a senior Lersi master, one of Por Sala Tan’s mentors, who shared his knowledge of naga wicha and fire element invocations. Together they performed extended chanting over many weeks — a combination of breath, mantra, and meditative transmission that imbued the relic with living potency. The dual takruts affixed to the hilt are inscribed in old Khom script, functioning as vessels for command energy and intent manifestation.

Traditionally, this piece serves two purposes. In ceremony, whatever it points toward receives blessing and alignment — whether a place, a person, or a spiritual task. The act of pointing is symbolic of divine authority, the extension of Lersi’s will into the world of form. In meditation, when held in the right hand, it serves as a focusing conduit for connection with Lersi Narod Payanak — deepening one’s intuition, strengthening vision, and sharpening the mind’s ability to discern truth.

The Lersi’s Golden Finger is more than a ritual implement; it is a bridge between thought and realization. Within Por Sala Tan’s lineage, such pieces were not made often — their creation demanded precision, patience, and moral readiness. Every carving, every engraved syllable, was done with full awareness, never repeated mechanically.

To the practitioner, this relic is a tool of manifestation, protection, and guidance. To the collector, it is one of the finest surviving examples of Por Sala Tan’s sacred art — carrying not only the handwork of a master but the living current of a spiritual lineage that reaches beyond human skill, into the timeless current of the Lersi themselves.
