Deity / Master

This Yin Tong originates from Por Sala Tan’s later period, when his wiccha practice evolved toward balancing charm, authority, and spiritual magnetism. The Yin Tong form is rooted in both Lanna and Khmer traditions, representing the union of yin and yang forces — attraction through balance rather than domination. Por Sala Tan created and blessed these pieces after his return from the Cambodian border regions, where exchanges with local hermits and laymasters deepened his understanding of dual-energy wiccha — the harmonization of charm and focus, mercy and protection, attraction and restraint.

Historical Background

The Yin Tong figure has been a recurring motif across Northern and Khmer magical traditions for centuries. Often symbolizing the perfected form of magnetism, it embodies the principles of emotional balance, metta, and inner composure that draw favorable outcomes naturally rather than through force.

Por Sala Tan’s version reflects his preference for materials of spiritual weight. Each piece was made from sacred powders and metallic relic mix derived from temple remnants, burned offerings, and ground relics collected during his travels. The form was cast using the lost-wax technique, a hallmark of classical Lanna ritual metallurgy, preserving both the unique contours and the spiritual heat of the casting ceremony.

These Yin Tong were created in small numbers, primarily as blessings for disciples and devotees needing harmony in relationships, business negotiations, and spiritual practice. The blessing ceremony combined incantations of metta, seneh, and maha niyom, with an emphasis on energy flow that promotes mutual respect and recognition.

Blessings and Effects

The Yin Tong bestows blessings of magnetism, charm, harmony, and mental equilibrium. It strengthens one’s aura to attract goodwill, opportunity, and emotional balance while grounding the mind against volatility.

For spiritual practitioners, it helps cultivate upekkha — equanimity — enhancing awareness and control over emotional impulses. For laypersons, it manifests as smoother relationships, persuasive influence, and natural favor in social or professional circles. Unlike aggressive attraction wiccha, Yin Tong’s energy radiates calm confidence and likability, making it suitable even in formal or high-responsibility environments.

Por Sala Tan’s lineage placed great emphasis on balance — to draw others through sincerity, to lead without arrogance, and to gain success without harming others. Yin Tong encapsulates that philosophy in tangible form.

Materials

The amulet is composed of sacred alloy and relic-infused powders, combining fragments of old temple statuary and ash from ceremonial fires. The dark patina is a result of age and ritual oil absorption, giving it both texture and spiritual density. The casting reflects Lanna craftsmanship, while the embedded essence — sometimes reinforced with miniature takrut — channels Por Sala Tan’s unique hybrid of Khmer charm wiccha and Northern baramee practice.

Usage in Modern Life

The Yin Tong is particularly effective for individuals seeking influence through calm charisma — business leaders, speakers, advisors, or those whose work depends on interpersonal understanding. It enhances presence in meetings and negotiations, subtly aligning circumstances and people toward favorable outcomes.

For spiritual aspirants, it supports the development of inner balance, reducing emotional turbulence and promoting clarity during meditation. The energy is refined, steady, and confidence-building — suitable for daily wear. Among Por Sala Tan’s wide range of wiccha, Yin Tong remains one of the most elegantly balanced works: protective, attractive, and deeply grounded in merit-based harmony.
