Deity / Master

This Guman was created and consecrated by Por Sala Tan of Fang, using gaduk chang kraden as the core material. Known for his deep practice of liberating spirits from abandoned or bound places, Por Sala Tan employed both ritual precision and animist wicha to prepare this figure.

Historical Background

This Guman originates from the liberation of a higher-level spirit that had been trapped within an abandoned temple building. Despite repeated ceremonies by others, the spirit could not ascend or move on. Por Sala Tan, through extended meditation and liberation rites, anchored its essence into this vessel so it could serve rather than remain bound.

In order to contain and protect the liberated spirit, Por Sala Tan drew on ancient funerary symbolism that paralleled the logic of Egyptian mummification—binding to preserve, protect, and stabilize. Just as linen wrappings safeguarded the soul’s recognition and passage, here sai sin cords and takrut sheets were layered around the figure. These bindings did not only hold the relic together physically but also ensured the spirit’s energy remained intact, preventing dispersion or imbalance.

The wrappings allowed Por Sala Tan to give the spirit a renewed identity—recognizable, contained, and preserved—while the takrut scrolls acted as protective amulets woven directly into the covering. The resemblance to ancient burial and preservation rites underscores the universal principle of safeguarding essence for its journey and service.

Blessings and Effects

  • Guardianship – Acts as a protective spirit, ensuring safety of the owner and environment.

  • Wealth and Livelihood – Supports business, trade, and attraction of opportunities.

  • Loyal Service – Functions as a devoted assistant spirit once released from its trapped state.

  • Spiritual Stability – Wrapping with takrut and sai sin ensures balance, preventing volatility in the spirit’s interaction with its keeper.

Materials

  • Gaduk Chang Kraden – Core material of the effigy.

  • Takrut Sheets – Rolled yantra inscribed by hand, bound into the wrappings.

  • Sai Sin – Ritual cords layered tightly, mirroring preservation methods of old funerary rites.

  • Consecration Oil and Powders – Applied during the liberation process for anchorage.

Usage in Modern Life

This Guman is a spirit-companion rooted in liberation. Once trapped in an abandoned building, it now stands as a force of protection and attraction, suited for individuals who require both guardianship and prosperity support.

The bindings themselves symbolize continuity—the spirit is preserved and stabilized for long-term service, much like ancient practices ensured the soul would recognize and re-enter its body in the afterlife. It is both a spiritual relic and a testament to Por Sala Tan’s mastery in combining preservation and liberation into a single vessel.
