This piece is a Suer Yan Graduk Suer Kraden, carved and consecrated by Por Sala Tan. The image shows the tiger in a triumphant posture, rising with its hand lifted high after battle. It embodies the energy of victory—the moment when struggle has ended and dominance is established. This form is reserved for amulets carrying the blessing of overcoming trials, ensuring that the bearer continually rises above obstacles.
The making of this amulet was not casual. Such pieces could only be completed following a successful exorcism ritual of tiger spirits, a ceremony where restless spirit forces were confronted, pacified, and integrated into ritual form.
Only after the ceremony was complete could the tiger essence be safely enclosed within the carved figure, transforming wild force into protective strength.
The back is fitted with a relic of suer kraden, anchoring the amulet to the raw vitality of the tiger. Around it are takruts, each inserted to harmonize the energies within the piece. The takruts ensure that the tiger’s force, the relic’s vitality, and the wearer’s own field work in balance. Rather than a chaotic display of raw power, the energy becomes stable, directed, and usable in daily life.
Por Sala Tan’s intention in shaping this piece was clear: to provide a source of victory blessings that could be carried every day. Just as the tiger rises in triumph after battle, the bearer is meant to rise above setbacks, secure authority, and emerge victorious in struggles both worldly and spiritual.
The rarity of this form adds to its significance. Few such pims exist, as they require both the ritual context of spirit exorcism and the mastery of harmonizing forces through takrut inscription. To carry this amulet is to carry not just the symbol of the victorious tiger, but the living charge of a ritual that subdued wild essence and turned it into enduring strength.
