This suer kraden was created by Por Sala Tan, formed with materials chosen for their spiritual density and ritual power. At its core is a tiger hip relic, carrying the raw vitality and survival force of the animal. The base holds fragments of old suer paneang, linking the piece to earlier tiger talismans and their accumulated baramee. These are set within “fire jungle soil,” a sacred substance long used by shamans to charge amulets with spiritual weight, ensuring that whatever is consecrated draws strength from the untamed potency of the forest.

The tiger is shown in the crouching form—suer kraden—a posture of readiness and controlled energy. It represents latent power, authority held in reserve, and the ability to act with precision rather than waste. This form was favored not only for protection but also for instilling respect and commanding presence.

Por Sala Tan personally employed this piece in his work. It was used in the preparation of holy water, where its energy was invoked for blessing, healing, and warding. He also carried it through long meditation retreats lasting over seven days, allowing the relic, soil, and tiger essence to continually absorb and radiate his own cultivated force. This repeated use added layers of spiritual charge, embedding his practice into the amulet.

For the bearer today, the piece serves multiple purposes. In daily life, it strengthens authority and shields from danger, while drawing respect and cooperation. In meditation, it steadies the mind, focusing scattered energy and rooting the practitioner in disciplined strength. It functions as both a protective relic and a reservoir of accumulated baramee, shaped by animal spirit, ritual materials, and Por Sala Tan’s own sustained practice.
