Deity / Figure
This amulet depicts Rahu, carved from gaduk chang kraden. Rahu, the celestial deity who devours the sun and moon, is invoked for power over fate, reversal of obstacles, and the absorption of ill fortune directed at the wearer.
Historical Background
This particular piece was consecrated in Laos, just across the border of Friendship Bridge 3, during a highly rare astronomical event: the third lunar eclipse of the year. Such timing was seen as the most auspicious moment to empower a lunar Rahu, aligning the ceremony directly with the cosmic energies of eclipse.
Por Sala Tan was present for the ritual, later bringing several pieces back into Thailand. This example remained in the possession of Ac Lek, marking it as the last surviving piece from that batch.
Materials
-
Gaduk Chang Kraden: Deeply revered for its spiritual weight and grounding properties.
-
Astrological Disc (Reverse): A coin-like insert inscribed with calculations of lunar alignment, designed to hold and radiate the specific energy captured on that eclipse night.
-
Sacred Powders: The backing mixture compounded for durability and spiritual conductivity, further sealed with yantra markings.
Blessings and Effects
-
Absorption of Misfortune: Rahu consumes and neutralizes bad luck, spiritual attacks, and ill fate.
-
Wealth & Side Fortune: Especially strong for supplementary income and financial opportunities outside one’s main work.
-
Authority & Presence: Empowers confidence, charisma, and the ability to sway situations in one’s favor.
-
Cosmic Alignment: The unique consecration under the eclipse ties the piece directly to celestial cycles, enhancing its ability to influence fate.
Usage in Modern Life
This Rahu amulet is ideal for those facing obstacles, competition, or financial instability. It draws away harm and misfortune, while simultaneously opening new channels for prosperity. As the last surviving piece from Ac Lek’s possession, it stands as both a spiritually potent charm and a rare historical relic of Por Sala Tan’s cross-border consecration work.
