Framed in Silver
This image was carved from Nga Chang Kraden Boran, an ancient nga chang relic material over a century old. The batch was prepared by Por Sala Tan specifically at the request of a senior officer disciple from Myanmar, whose soldiers were engaged in the ongoing civil conflict. The intention was to create talismans of baramee (spiritual authority) and fighting spirit to strengthen the men under his command.
During the preparation of the material, Por Sala Tan experienced an unusual sign. From a Hanuman mask kept on his shrine, he felt a tingling sensation that deepened during meditation. It was perceived that the essence of Hanuman, the great monkey general, had infused itself into the large piece of Nga Chang. Originally, Por Sala Tan intended to craft these into Singha lion forms, but the event shifted the process, leading him to commission local craftsmen to carve the relic into Hanuman figures instead.
The amulets were subsequently blessed again by Por Sala Tan with assistance from his monk disciples to seal the infusion of Hanuman’s force and properly consecrate the batch.
Blessings and Effects
-
Command and Authority (Amnaj): The Hanuman essence empowers the owner with commanding presence, instilling respect from peers, rivals, and subordinates.
-
Baramee: The inherent baramee of both Hanuman and the aged Nga Chang relic enhances leadership, influence, and spiritual gravitas.
-
Unbreakable Willpower: A key blessing is inner strength to endure and triumph through challenges, whether in military, business, or personal battles.
-
Wisdom in Negotiation: Particularly potent for negotiations, sales, or competitive environments, granting the owner strategic clarity and persuasive influence.
-
Protection: Hanuman’s warrior spirit adds shielding in conflict, accidents, and confrontations, allowing the wearer to prevail in adversity.
Ritual Use
The piece can be further activated by chanting the katha:
“Ha Nu Ma Na” (x3)
This call resonates with the warrior spirit of Hanuman and strengthens its protective and empowering aura.
Rarity
Pieces of Nga Chang Kraden Boran of this quality are already scarce due to the age and sacred nature of the material. To have them carved into Hanuman images—born of both material rarity and a spiritual occurrence—makes this an exceptional creation in Por Sala Tan’s body of work.
