Rare Mainstream Ngan made of holy relics of a Lersi
This is a hand-strung piece by Por Sala Tan, showcasing his deep understanding of sacred materials and spiritual synergy. The strand is composed of gaduk chang beads — an organic material revered for its life force, grounding energy, and connection to endurance and wisdom.
It is paired with a Pra Nagn figure crafted from gaduk pathat, known as the relics of a learned and enlightened arahant.
The lower portion of the amulet though not fully captured in the photograph — features three takruts beautifully embedded within the body, each infused with sacred incantations of protection, charisma, and wish fulfillment.
The gaduk used for this piece came from a Lersi companion of Por Sala Tan, a hermit who kept and later offered his own relics after death, understanding the powerful baramee such remains could bestow upon future generations.
Within this composition lies a deeper layer the presence of an Ngan spirit, a cave-dwelling jinn who sought liberation through Por Sala Tan’s rituals. This merging of relic and spirit gives the piece dual potency: the calm, enlightened radiance of the arahant and the dynamic, wish-granting force of the liberated Ngan.
