This rune coin was obtained by Por Sala Tan during his travels in India and kept as part of his personal collection before being released. Cast from an alloy of sacred metals blended with asteroid minerals, it carries the rare potency of “sky-iron,” a material revered across many traditions for its link to celestial forces.
The inscriptions on the surface are not ordinary yantras but alien-like glyphs, their geometry echoing Rahu and lunar magic. In Indian tantra, meteoric iron has long been tied to Rahu yantras for reversing misfortune and swallowing danger. Among Tai Yai shamans and Lanna masters, eclipse seals on blackened metals were used to bind unseen entities. For Meo (Hmong) shamans, sky-fallen iron coins marked with cross-and-circle designs were guides in trance journeys, functioning as spirit passports.
The design—circle within quadrants—is a universal cosmogram, representing world-quarters, lunar gates, and eclipse cycles. The coded markings serve as locks and reversal formulas, channeling planetary power to shield the bearer. With its meteoritic core and sacred alloy casting, it becomes what practitioners across cultures recognize as a cosmic shield.
Por Sala Tan considered this coin significant enough to keep close for years in his own altar collection. Its function is clear: reversal of obstacles, protection from unseen forces, and elevation of fortune through Rahu’s devouring power. Carrying the resonance of India’s tantric roots fused with Indo-Chinese shamanic traditions, this is not just an amulet but a cross-cultural artifact of celestial energy.
