Historical Background

The Ma Sek Nang Phayant is one of the most striking forms of Lanna charm magic, combining sacred cloth, taboo legend, and deep animist wicha. Traditionally, these phayants feature the iconic imagery of a horse and a woman—representing irresistible attraction and love energy that transcends boundaries—surrounded by yantra inscriptions that lock in the power of maha sanaeh (charm, allure, influence).

Por Sala Tan, inheriting the rare knowledge of Lanna charm cloths, took this already potent formula and intensified it using a method few masters dared attempt. He created a batch of phayants infused not only with yantra and imagery, but with corpse cloths and oils from five different prai spirits. Each of the five carried its own story of untimely death, merging together in a ritual blend to produce one of the most serious seneh cloths in circulation.

Blessings and Effects

• Amplifier of Attraction: The primary function of this cloth is to supercharge other seneh items. Any amulet or oil left wrapped inside it will quickly absorb and magnify the aura.

• Irresistible Aura: Wiping one’s face with the cloth (after applying a drop of oil or perfume) enhances personal charm, radiating magnetic presence in social or romantic settings.

• Charging Amulets: Fold your seneh amulets or takruts inside the cloth to draw out their full essence.

• Personal Enhancement: Add a few drops of seneh oil from any master—or even ordinary perfume—onto the cloth, then gently wipe across your face or body to activate the aura.

This phayant was one of my favorite pieces in my younger years as an amulet dealer.
