Por Sala Tan

This piece originates as a test mould created in 2555 (2012) under the direction of Phra Kru Samupreecha, the abbot of Wat Mae Wang Chang in Phayao Province. For this early consecration, Por Sala Tan was personally invited to take part in the chanting. The material base is made entirely from pong maha seneh powder, with half of the formula contributed directly by Por Sala Tan himself. The process of preparing this sacred powder was meticulous: inscriptions were first hand-written onto a chalkboard, then wiped into a bottle, and the collected essence underwent further consecration before being pressed into this small test run.

The main batch would only be officially produced four years later in 2559 (2016), when a full assembly of senior monks and masters were invited to complete the consecration. Among them were:

Only after this larger chanting ceremony in 2016 was the official batch completed and distributed.

By contrast, the test moulds made in 2012 remained extremely scarce, with no more than twenty pieces ever produced. These served as both a trial for the powder mixture and as sacred prototypes preceding the mass blessing. Their rarity and direct link to both Por Sala Tan’s contribution and Phra Kru Samupreecha’s temple make them highly significant within the lineage of this batch.

Accounts surrounding this test mould have always centered on the power of its maha seneh influence, a quality amplified by the unusually high concentration of seneh powder inside. Those who have worn the piece describe a subtle but unmistakable shift in how others respond to them—conversations flow more easily, people open up quickly, and strangers show warmth and friendliness without reason. In social or business settings, wearers often note that their presence feels more magnetic; colleagues and clients are drawn to them, making discussions smoother and agreements easier to reach.
