This Khun Pean by Por Sala Tan is carved from gaduk chang kraden, a material long respected for strength, endurance, and spiritual resilience. The Khun Pean image is seated gracefully upon a lotus base, symbolizing purity rising above obstacles, and consecrated through Por Sala Tan’s method of harmonizing sacred matter with charm forces.

On the reverse, the piece is empowered with multiple seneh takruts, each inscribed and bound with the intention of drawing influence, presence, and favor. These are not merely decorative inserts but carriers of specific incantations, each one enhancing the amulet’s ability to work in social and personal spheres. Together they form a layered field of attraction, persuasion, and goodwill.

Mixed into the base is soil from Mount Popa in Burma, regarded across the region as the most potent for baramee (spiritual prestige) and metta mahaniyom (loving-kindness that inspires recognition and popularity). For centuries, Mount Popa has been the seat of powerful hermits and nat spirits, and its soil is collected only for works intended to elevate a person’s aura, ensuring they are noticed and welcomed wherever they go.

The combination of gaduk chang kraden, sacred takruts, and Mount Popa soil makes this Khun Pean a complete piece—firm in protection, rich in charm, and radiant with prestige. It is a classic work of Por Sala Tan’s craftsmanship, embodying his ability to balance natural relics, ancient wiccha, and ritual empowerment into a single amulet of enduring value.
