Tarkrut Maha Chakapat
This takrut draws its lineage from a renowned Burmese monk who commanded influence over politicians and wealthy families through his mastery of ritual objects. His ritual scepter, long considered a seat of his power, became the source of this piece.
After his passing, the relic rings of the scepter and the accompanying bamboo scriptures were entrusted to Por Sala Tan, who faithfully carried out the continuation of the practice. Later, Por Sala Tan’s performed an additional reblessing to seal the energy for modern use.
The Burmese monk, widely respected in both religious and political circles, never intended for his scepter to fall into the wrong hands. Before his death, he dismantled it, giving sections to trusted disciples. Por Sala Tan was one of the rare recipients, receiving both the nga chang rings from the scepter and scriptures explaining the consecration process. Por Sala Tan was thrilled, as the monk’s reputation was already known even across the Thai border.
He followed the prescribed rituals, aligned the consecration dates with auspicious astrological periods, and blessed the takruts continuously for one year before releasing them. Upon completion, the entire batch was taken by a Hong Kong dealer, who sold only ten to elite clients while keeping the rest in private stock. Decades later, after the dealer retired, a portion resurfaced and was returned to Ac Lek for a secondary blessing before being wrapped and released once again.
