This 3-inch Lersi Ser Ming Pai piece by Por Sala Tan represents one of the most unusual and spiritually weighty works from his hand. It was created using paneang suer relics (suer graden) that had, in life, entered into a state of submission under the grace of a forest Lersi.

The tiger is said to have followed the Lersi into his cave, living side by side until both entered samadhi there. The only other widely recounted story in similar vein is that of LP Pinut, who was followed by a monkey companion until his passing.
