One of the nicest pieces the photo doesn't do this piece justice !
Priced to sell this is a piece that is valued at $1500-2000 but I've so much stock that I simply put a very modest mark up!
This tiger was hand-carved by Por Sala Tan in his younger days using Keow Suea Graden, one of the most prized and time-honored materials for tiger amulets. The Keow used here is over 200 years old, passed down from his lineage of masters, ensuring not just physical durability but also a continuity of spiritual power. Measuring at 2 inches, this is considered a highly favorable size—large enough to carry presence, yet still wearable for daily use. The piece is harmonized with five takruts and wrapped in traditional style, embodying the Lanna and Fang region’s classic craftsmanship.
Spiritual Qualities of Tiger Amulets
In Thai mystical traditions, the tiger is one of the most respected spiritual symbols. Its baramee (spiritual prestige) and amnaj (authority) are deeply sought after by warriors, monks, and laypeople alike. Tiger amulets are not merely decorative; they channel the essence of the predator—courageous, commanding, and untouchable. This particular piece reflects both the material power of the Keow Suea and the disciplined blessing style of Por Sala Tan.
Blessings and Effects
The amulet carries a full spectrum of tiger blessings, with emphasis on both worldly command and personal safety:
-
Maha Amnaj (Authority and Command) – Enhances one’s natural dominance, ensuring respect and obedience in professional and personal dealings.
-
Kong Grapan Chadtri (Invulnerability) – Spiritual protection against weapons, accidents, and malicious intent.
-
Klaew Klaad (Evasion) – Allows the wearer to escape dangers and misfortunes, slipping past unseen harm much like a tiger in the forest.
-
Metta Maha Niyom (Charisma and Popularity) – Builds influence, opening doors to supportive relationships and social advancement.
-
Maha Lap (Great Fortune) – Attracts prosperity, opportunities, and financial stability.
-
Maha Sanaeh (Attraction and Enchantment) – Generates personal magnetism, useful both in romance and in business dealings.
-
Protection from Black Magic – Shields against sorcery, curses, and negative spiritual forces.
-
Overcoming Obstacles – Grants the strength and momentum to defeat rivals, resolve conflicts, and rise above adversity.
Usage in Modern Life
In present times, a tiger amulet like this is highly desirable for leaders, entrepreneurs, and individuals facing competition or environments where recognition and authority are key. Its combination of amnaj and metta makes it balanced—commanding respect while also drawing support and goodwill. Whether in business negotiations, social spheres, or personal protection, this piece represents a classic and timeless guardian, built to last across generations.
