Historical Background
This piece originates from the war chest of Por Sala Tan’s inheritance from past masters—a private collection of highly potent and often rare materials entrusted across generations.
The front depicts a fierce form, hand-carved from gaduk chang kraden (ancient relics), a material long revered in Southeast Asian animist-Buddhist practice for its durability, spiritual weight, and ability to hold blessings across centuries. The carving style, later touched up by Por Sala Tan himself with red and dark pigments, brings the form to life—enhancing its vibrancy and aura.
Relics and Sacred Inclusions
Set within this piece are genuine relics from Lersi Pu Chao Ser Ming Pai, an ascetic master whose path embodied wisdom and occult mastery. Relics from such practitioners are rare to obtain and are believed to carry the spiritual residue of their ascetic powers.
These were inserted alongside takruts—small inscribed scrolls of yantra—harmonised through consecration to stabilize and amplify the amulet’s force. The rear surface shows the intricate embedding of these sacred materials, layered with gold and protective coatings, designed to radiate strength and guidance outward.
Blessings and Effects
The combination of gaduk chang kraden, relics of Lersi Pu Chao Ser Ming Pai, and consecrated takruts creates a multi-dimensional blessing:
-
Guidance and Decision Making – channeling the wisdom of a lersi, aiding clarity in thought and direction.
-
Protection – defensive energy against unseen obstacles, dangers, and malevolent forces.
-
Baramee (Merit Power) – elevates personal authority and respect, supporting one’s standing in both spiritual and worldly matters.
-
Vitality and Strength – the fierce expression carved and colored by Por Sala Tan symbolizes energy, drive, and resilience.
Usage in Modern Life
For the present-day keeper, this amulet serves as a companion in times of important decision-making, professional challenges, and spiritual practice. Its essence is both protective and empowering, allowing the wearer to feel shielded while also guided by higher wisdom. The strong baramee influence also makes it suitable for leaders, business owners, or practitioners seeking influence and recognition in their fields.
