Por Sala Tan made this Nang Ngoo Ya Fed Takrut following one of the most demanding and traditional wiccha processes, a method reserved only for the most skilled masters. The work began in the mountains, where he collected specific herbs long associated with seneh—the art of attraction and influence. These herbs were not used directly. Instead, they were mixed into food prepared for wild mice, ensuring the plants’ essence became part of the animals’ very flesh and blood.
When ready, the mice were fed to large serpents—often pythons or cobras—chosen for their symbolic and spiritual strength. Within the body of the snake, the herb-charged animals underwent a transformation, their essence merging with the serpent’s own nature. The final stage of this process was the collection of the snake’s excrement, known in occult practice as ya fed. This material, now infused with layers of symbolic power from both the herbs and the predator-prey cycle, was regarded by Por Sala Tan as a potent base for a consecrated object.
In this piece, the ya fed was encased in nang ngoo payanak—the skin of a serpent—binding the power of the snake directly to the amulet. It was then secured with strong cord, and finally, sai sin from a major blessing ceremony was tied around it, locking in the ritual energy.
Por Sala Tan produced fewer than fifty of these over his decades of work, each one requiring significant preparation and absolute adherence to the process. The completed takrut is used for creating strong personal attraction, securing loyalty, exerting subtle dominance, and giving the bearer an advantage in situations where influence determines the outcome—whether in business dealings, negotiations, or personal relationships.
