This amulet was created around a takrut gifted to Por Sala Tan by a forest monk. The takrut bears finely inscribed Lanna yantra on its surface, a detail still visible today. At the time of receiving it, Por Sala Tan did not know its exact purpose.

During a later deep meditation session, he experienced a vision of the monk who had given him the takrut. In this vision, the monk revealed himself as Phra Sivali, the wandering arahant revered in Theravāda tradition for his blessings of prosperity, safe travels, and the ability to attract alms and support. Recognising the significance of the encounter, Por Sala Tan carved an image of Sivali as a commemoration of this moment.

The takrut was set into the reverse side of the amulet, with 108 sacred herbs forming the backing. These herbs were selected and empowered for career growth, business advancement, and the steady accumulation of resources.

Key Features:

  • Front: Hand-carved Sivali in wandering monk posture.

  • Back: Original gifted takrut with visible Lanna yantra inscriptions, embedded in 108-herb matrix.

  • Function: Advancement in career or enterprise, attraction of benefactors, smooth travel, and general prosperity.

  • Cultural Context: Combines Northern Thai (Lanna) esoteric tradition with the veneration of Sivali as an archetype of abundance and safe passage.

This piece stands as both a spiritual tool and a record of a personal meditative milestone in Por Sala Tan’s practice.
