This Ngan was created by Por Sala Tan in collaboration with a Lersi master known for advanced fire meditation practices. The creation took place during a trip into the hills to collect herbs for wiccha. During this journey, they encountered the remains of a mae prai dressed in traditional clothing of a minority tribe from neighbouring Burma.
Sensing that her spirit was unsettled, the Lersi recommended performing an immediate fire wicha ceremony to aid her transition and harness the spiritual potency. The Ngan image was placed upon the remains, and a ritual fire was lit. In the process, the spirit’s essence was bound into the Ngan, imbuing it with saneh (attraction) and wish-granting properties.
The remaining corpse cloth from the ceremony was used to wrap the Ngan, sealed with Burmese wax and later inscribed with yantra for spiritual command and amplification.
-
Function: Attraction, relationship influence, and wish fulfilment.
-
Construction: Spirit-bound Ngan wrapped in original corpse cloth, Burmese wax seal, yantra inscriptions.
-
Size: 2.5 inches.
