This Keow Suer Dam is a hybrid ritual object originating from Por Sala Tan’s field journey to Northeast India, a region known for its strong animistic tribal practices.
During his travels, Por Sala Tan was often gifted raw sacred objects by indigenous shamans, including carved animalistic effigies made from bone or tusk. These objects were not decorative but used as spiritual protectors and symbols of ancestral strength.
The carving itself was completed in India, likely by local tribal craftsmen using traditional totemic animal forms. After returning to Thailand, Por Sala Tan reworked the piece ritually, applying the following sacred enhancements:
-
Handwritten yants over the surface using herbal-blackened ink
-
Insertion of Takrut Na Ma Pa Ta, a powerful four-elemental control spell frequently used by Por Sala Tan in his advanced wiccha
-
Sacred wax sealing using Burmese-origin resin and personal blend
-
Rope binding with embedded takrut and charms, finalizing the piece for actual use
This approach of cross-cultural empowerment is consistent with Por Sala Tan’s practice—he often activated foreign-origin talismans using Thai Buddhist and occult techniques, harmonizing the two systems.
Baramee & Function
The "Suer" (tiger) imagery, fused with predatory material, already carries a strong symbolic meaning of fearlessness, dominance, and silent authority. With Por Sala Tan’s additional empowerment:
-
Baramee (Merit Power): Strong presence and authority in social, spiritual, and business settings
-
Metta Mahaniyom: The softened form of charisma—this piece not only protects, it invites favor and respect
-
Protection & Aura Expansion: Wearers report increased clarity in leadership, stronger presence in negotiations, and noticeable deterrence against malicious energy
-
Na Ma Pa Ta Wiccha: Especially effective in maintaining elemental balance, stabilizing mental states, and attracting correct circumstances
Talisman Design
-
The dual-tone material aging shows its original tribal use and long history of exposure
-
The "fringe" rope tail is not merely decorative; it mimics traditional animist practice of trailing fiber cords as a symbolic antenna to spiritual realms
-
Compact yet commanding in aura, suitable for bodywear or altar use for those in high-risk professions, spiritual leadership, or unstable environments
