This Krut-faced Ngan was used by Por Sala Tan and Ac Lek in cave-based rituals requiring the clearing of obstructed spiritual energy. In certain caves, the natural field becomes blocked by high-level jinn or territorial entities. This figure carries the essence of a senior jinn liberated by Por Sala Tan, used to dominate or displace such forces so that ceremonies, meditation, or wiccha can be performed without interference.
The figure is cast from brass melted down from old Cambodian Ngan statues, chosen for its established spiritual memory. Over 20 hand-inscribed takrut were inserted into the body, each written by Por Sala Tan using his own ritual method. The Krut-faced design represents power and clarity in unseen spaces.
Wire Cage Structure:
The body is encased in a handmade ritual wire cage, following the method used before plastic casings became available. During earlier periods, when rituals were conducted in remote locations and amulets had to be carried into deep caves, this style of binding was used to secure the energy of active amulets and prevent spiritual leakage during transport or ceremony.
This form of casing is functional. It holds and concentrates the force of the spirit within, especially for entities tasked with clearing, protecting, or commanding territory.
