Gaduk Chang Naga Ring – Por Sala Tan (Circa B.E. 252X)
Crafted During the Naga Ceremony | Gaduk Chang Bone | Burmese Naga Stone | Red Wax Ritual Sealing
A Singular Creation: One Ring, One Ceremony
This ring is one of a kind—literally. Por Sala Tan made only a single piece of this type, personally crafting it during a powerful Naga ceremony in B.E. 252X. Unlike his usual amulets or takruts, this was not intended for public distribution. It was a piece of ritual consequence, designed to be a focal point of power and merit transference.
The ring’s rarity, construction, and symbolism position it as a spiritual artifact of exceptional purpose and strength.
Base Material: Gaduk Chang
-
Gaduk Chang carries baramee (accumulated merit) and the karma of lifetimes of service, memory, and strength.
-
In ritual use, gaduk chang acts as a container for high-level spirits, particularly protective devas and animal guardians.
-
It offers natural shielding from black magic, misfortune, and spiritual attack, making it an ideal base for a piece intended to fend off danger.
Por Sala Tan is known to only use gaduk chang for pieces intended to anchor spiritual presence or deflect karmic backlash—never for decoration or commercial use.
Naga Stone Insertion & Burmese Red Wax Ritual
After the ceremony concluded, Por Sala Tan inserted a red naga stone (possibly a sacred naga crystal or naga-loke) at the top of the ring.
-
The Naga Stone symbolizes wealth, wish-granting, and protection from natural and supernatural danger.
-
It was set using Burmese red wax, which acts as a spirit sealant and activation medium—believed to “lock in” spiritual entities or elemental forces invoked during the ceremony.
The red wax is significant: in Burmese traditions, red wax is used not merely to hold objects in place, but to bind the power of the ceremony permanently into the item.
Takrut Tied for Energy Harmonization
On the inner bottom of the ring, a takrut scroll was tied and sealed with thread. This takrut was not decorative—it served a key spiritual function:
-
To harmonize the intense power of the gaduk chang and naga stone, making it safe and effective for wear
-
To balance spiritual input and output, ensuring the user can benefit from its blessings without energetic overwhelm
-
To ground the piece in the Dhamma, reinforcing its ethical alignment and baramee-based efficacy
Intended Effects and Use
This ring was never meant to be flashy or status-driven. It was built for real-world spiritual use, specifically for:
