Meed Mor – Lek Nam Pii Blade Consecrated by Por Sala Tan
Chanted at the Naga Ceremony, Udon Thani | Kom Script Yant by Lersi Lineage
29 Pieces Made
6" Length
Overview
This is a Meed Mor (sacred ritual dagger) forged from the highly rare and spiritually potent material known as Lek Nam Pii—a mystical ore long revered in Southeast Asia for its innate protective, absorbing, and banishing powers.
The piece was part of a special batch personally brought by Por Sala Tan during his visit to Udon Thani, where he had been invited to take part in a major Naga ceremony—a powerful, multi-day chanting event tied to the worship and invocation of Phaya Naga, the great serpent deity of the Mekong region.
Sacred Material: Lek Nam Pii
Lek Nam Pii is not ordinary metal. It is sourced from ancient, closed mines deep in the mountains of Thailand and Laos, where the ore is believed to carry strong earth energy and elemental balance. It is traditionally used to forge spiritual weapons meant for:
-
Repelling dark forces
-
Cutting karmic entanglements
-
Defensive energetic work and protective invocation rituals
It is notoriously difficult to work with, requiring skilled blacksmiths and a deep understanding of ritual metallurgy.
Ritual Background: Naga Ceremony Empowerment
During the Naga Ceremony in Udon Thani, Por Sala Tan brought this batch of Meed Mor blades with him, knowing the presence of the Phaya Naga and high-level monks would offer an ideal energetic environment for consecration.
The chanting rituals at the event focused on:
-
Water blessings, protection, and ancestral connection
-
Invoking the boon-bestowing power of the Nagas, who are known as guardians of hidden wisdom and protectors of the Dhamma
-
Creating a bridge between elemental energies (earth-water-fire-air) and the user's baramee (spiritual merit)
This specific batch of Meed Mor thus carries both the weight of the earth (from the metal) and the blessing of the water serpents (from the ritual)—a rare combination in contemporary spiritual items.
Unique Yant Script: Kom Script by Lersi Friends
While Por Sala Tan himself was a master of Lanna wicha, this batch features Yant inscriptions in Kom script, not Lanna.
The reason is significant: his Lersi friends, who joined the ceremony, were the ones who hand-yanted each blade using the ancient Khmer-style Kom script—a script more frequently used in southern, central, and Isaan wicha traditions for its intense command power and protective structure.
Kom-scripted Meed Mor are believed to be more direct and aggressive in their spiritual energy—perfect for cutting through deceit, curses, or severe spiritual interference.
