Khun Pean of the Five Spirits (2014 Batch – Non-Paneang Variant)

Created by Por Sala Tan | Fang District, Chiang Mai | Limited to 49 Pieces

Background & Context

In 2014, Por Sala Tan, then already advanced in age, released his first and only structured batch of Khun Pean amulets. Until that point, his works were known primarily within tight circles—made in extremely limited quantities, often for personal use or direct transmission to close followers. This release marked a shift: a final decision to utilize his remaining sacred materials in a way that could leave a legacy.

Only 49 pieces were created.

This specific variation belongs to that inaugural batch, but it does not include the coffin nail or Paneang relic that appeared in a handful of pieces from the same run. Nevertheless, it retains full ritual and material inclusion tied to the five high-level Mae Hong Prai spirits selected for this project.

Material Composition

Each amulet was created using a carefully prepared mixture of:

  • Flesh relics (nur hom) from five individual Mae Hong Prai spirits

  • Hair relics, symbolic of karmic connection and persistence

  • Relic soils and sacred powders from multiple earlier Pii Tai Hong rituals conducted by Por Sala Tan

These materials were not obtained randomly; each came from prior ceremonies personally conducted or overseen by Por Sala Tan. The goal was to construct not a symbolic item, but a spiritually occupied talisman—alive with intent, bonded through merit rituals.

Ritual Features and Activation

On the front face of the amulet, a piece of hand-cut yantra scripture was affixed using traditional lacquer and gold leaf. This was not decorative—it originated from the old wiccha book associated with the same five spirits. Its purpose:

  • To seal the spirits in cooperation

  • To harmonize their energy with the wearer

  • To act as a contract between realms

The ritual work did not end with the pressing of materials. Por Sala Tan conducted extended solo blessings over the entire batch—performed gradually, not rushed, over time, using a combination of northern Thai wiccha and cemetery invocation techniques.

Energetic Profile and Use

Unlike some of the more aggressive or heavy-barang items, this version of the Khun Pean is:

  • Highly responsive to vocalized intent

  • Strong in seneh (charm), personal influence, and attraction

  • Suitable for daily wear, especially in complex social or professional environments

  • Spiritually grounded, but less volatile due to the absence of high-friction relics (e.g., coffin nails)

Practitioners using this piece often report increased synchronicities, smoother interpersonal engagements, and heightened visibility in competitive settings.

Recommended Handling

This piece is best:

  • Worn on the upper body (near the heart or solar plexus)

  • Kept in clean spaces (altars, bedrooms, or dedicated shelves)

  • Communicated with directly—speak clearly, state your needs

No elaborate rituals are required for activation. The amulet is considered “active” from the moment of completion and was intended to function in real-life scenarios.
