In 2510, Por Sala Tan was requested to assist with an old, abandoned temple that a group of forest monks hoped to restore. The monks wanted to revitalize the temple to reside there and provide support to the local community.

However, whenever they tried to clean the temple, they noticed a strange, black oily substance that would immediately reappear on the floor. During meditation, the lead monk saw small, mysterious images and beings within one of the rooms but couldn't fully identify them. He was sure they weren’t spirits, as rituals to liberate all spiritual presences had already been conducted.

Unfamiliar with darker mystical practices, the monks called for Por Sala Tan's help. When he arrived, Por Sala Tan quickly recognized these entities as "Mini Ngans"—beings that had lingered since the temple’s abandonment. A former master who practiced dark arts had once used the temple for various ceremonies but had often left rituals unfinished due to frequent intoxication. Por Sala Tan noted that the Mini Ngans had been fed rice wine regularly and were now actively searching the room for offerings.

To capture these Mini Ngans, Por Sala Tan prepared a special mixture of rare ingredients. He used coffin wood from nine children’s coffins, soil from seven cemeteries, yoni seeds from seven female spirits (known as "Maes"), and black sesame seeds. He combined these with the black oil he gathered from the temple floor and used this mixture to trap the Mini Ngans, infusing them one by one into this batch. In total, he created 99 Mini Ngans.

A large Bucha amulet from this ceremony still resides at the temple today as a testament to this event. The 99 Mini Ngans were distributed to the locals and monks who had been present during the ritual, while the remaining pieces were kept by Ac Tum and Ac Lek.
