Gaduk Suer Relic with Lock of Lersi Hair – A Piece of a Real Sage’s Journey

Among the small bundle of items left behind by a Lersi who attained samadhi in the mountains of Chiang Dao was this relic: a ming pai made of gaduk suer, carried by the Lersi throughout his decades of practice. It was later recovered by Por Sala Tan, who knew this Lersi personally through their yearly encounters during temple ceremonies and rituals in Northern Thailand.

Recognizing the deep spiritual power it held, Por Sala Tan preserved the piece and added a small lock of the Lersi’s hair to maintain his essence within. This isn’t merely symbolic—the hair acts as an anchor for the remaining spiritual energy the Lersi infused into his tools.

Who Was This Lersi?

This was a real ascetic who lived deep within Chiang Dao’s caves and forests. He was known to practice the left-hand path arts—what the locals refer to as wicha dam—with deep knowledge in controlling spirits, communicating with jinn, and resolving supernatural disturbances.

Despite his occult skills, his mission was one of liberation. Over the course of his life, he reportedly freed over 100,000 entities—wandering spirits, lost souls, and trapped beings—through his merit-making rituals and meditations.

He was feared by some, respected by many, and sought after for guidance in times of spiritual crisis.
