Pidta Kao Yod Teap

“Summoning the Army of Angels & Devas”
By Por Sala Tan – Rare Wiccha Piece of Southern Lineage

This is not your typical Pidta.

Crafted from sacred black wood and coated in holy lacquer made from ancient tree sap, this Pidta Kao Yod Teap embodies the mystical union between forest spirits and celestial protection. Each piece is ritually hand-painted with consecrated lacquer, not for aesthetic — but for sealing spiritual force into physical form.

The term Kao Yod Teap translates loosely to “Nine-Spired Army of Celestial Defense”, referring to the invisible forces this Pidta can summon — a metaphysical army composed of:

  • Teap (เทพ) — divine devas, guardians, and celestial spirits

  • Angelic sentries from the upper realms

  • Forest-dwelling elemental beings that heed the Pidta's closed-eye call

These entities form a barrier of metta and spiritual armor around the wearer — especially potent in times of spiritual conflict, psychic attack, bad luck, or dangerous travel.

✦ A Wiccha from the Deep South

This particular wiccha — calling the Teap Army through Pidta imagery — is said to originate from Southern Thailand, especially the old kingdoms stretching across Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat, where Malay-Islamic mysticism and Thai-Buddhist occultism coexisted.

Over time, these wicchas travelled northward via the Burmese trade and migration routes, especially through Tak province, a key spiritual and cultural gateway between Burma, the Karen borderlands, and northern Thailand.

Por Sala Tan is one of the few northern masters who inherited this southern-rooted lineage, incorporating it into his own forest-based style of practice. His pieces carry not just protective power, but the echoes of ancient southern magic.

✦ How It Helps — Arjans vs Laymen

This piece works differently depending on who wears it:

For Laymen / Everyday Wearers:

  • It forms a spiritual entourage around the wearer, guarding against black magic, gossip, betrayal, bad luck, and unseen disturbances.

  • You’ll notice smoother negotiations, fewer accidents, increased inner peace, and protection while travelling — especially through haunted or spiritually “unclean” places.

  • Dreams may be clearer. Gut instincts become sharper. A sense of being "watched over" may arise, especially in moments of danger.

For Arjans / Ritual Practitioners:

  • This Pidta becomes a commanding relic, allowing the arjan to invoke, instruct, and deploy the celestial spirits during ritual work.

  • The Teap Army can be used to:

    • Clear ritual space of intruding spirits

    • Shield clients during spiritual healing or prai removals

    • Disrupt enemies' rituals or block their intention from reaching the target

  • In higher-level uses, some arjans may “seat” the Teap on a small altar and request them to surveil or carry messages in the unseen realms.

✦ A Rare Crossroads Piece

This is not a typical amulet for shop display. It is a powerful crossroad piece — born from southern fire, carried north through forest paths, and refined by one of the last great northern wizards of our era.

Only those who feel called will understand its full role.
