He followed her signs and ended up deep in a wooded area, where, after a series of meditations, the relics of a young woman were found—likely the same spirit who had appeared to him. Her relics still held heat. Por Sala Tan knew this was not just any ghost, but a Mae Per of exceptional emotional force and karmic unrest.

He took a small piece of her paneang, and sealed it at the back of her new vessel, anchoring her essence properly. He then inscribed tarkruts to protect her spirit, bring her peace, and allow her to form a true bond with the host.
