This sacred image of Pikanet (Ganesha) was made by Por Sala Tan using an exceptionally rare combination of relic materials and traditional craftsmanship. The body is formed from ancient kao kwai relic powder 🐄 — sacred bone and calcified fragments from spiritually kept water buffaloes long used in rituals for grounding and strength.

To enhance its spiritual efficacy, Por Sala Tan stuffed the image with a personal tarkrut and powdered remains of burnt chang relics, invoking the strength, memory, and baramee of the chang — a symbol of unwavering presence and overcoming resistance.

The surface is hand-painted using natural red sap from Burmese jungle trees, a traditional substance used to seal in spiritual energy and vitality. Finally, gold foil was applied during a blessing rite, symbolizing the invitation of light, merit, and auspicious beginnings.
