This miniature Mae Toranee image, carved from nga chang, was kept by Por Sala Tan submerged in a jar of holy water for decades. It served as a ritual base for countless ceremonies conducted over the years. The water in which it sat was regularly drawn and used to bless amulets, neutralize spiritual interference, and protect sacred spaces during consecration.

Mae Toranee, the Earth Goddess, represents grounding, truth, and the expelling of impurities both physical and spiritual. In Buddhist lore, she is invoked in times of spiritual challenge, famously wringing her hair to release holy water that drives away Mara, the embodiment of delusion and evil.

This particular statue was made of nga chang, a material known for stability and spiritual conductivity. It remained submerged in ceremony-charged holy water throughout Por Sala Tan’s lifetime and was only removed after his passing. It is not part of any mass-blessed batch. It was a central altar object, used to maintain energetic balance during sacred work.

The piece carries deep cleansing and protective qualities. Its constant exposure to chanting, mantras, and offerings over decades gives it a uniquely strong energetic field. It is especially suitable for practitioners seeking purification, merit support, or a spiritually grounded anchor in their home altar.

Recommended for collectors of personal items from respected masters, and for those who seek silent but powerful support in meditation, chanting, or ritual work. This is a legacy object, rich in accumulated baramee and resonance.
