Among the more unusual pieces created by Por Sala Tan, this one carries a story that blends seneh, heartbreak, and spiritual release. The paneang used in this amulet originated from a Cambodian woman — once the wife of a man known in his village as Khun Pean Dam (“Black Khun Pean”), a nickname given due to his tanned skin and reputation.
Khun Pean Dam was not just a common charm wielder. He had studied extensively with old masters in Cambodia and was known for his command of high-level seneh wicha. Among the many spells he had mastered was the rare Yant Na Hua Jai Khun Pean — the “Heart of Khun Pean,” said to strongly influence affection, attraction, and persuasive charm. This yant was eventually passed on to Por Sala Tan by Khun Pean Dam himself, as a mark of respect and spiritual exchange.
With at least 20 wives, his influence was undeniable. However, his mastery of seneh came with consequences. One of his wives, a woman of particularly strong character, eventually broke free of his enchantment. She had gone to a monastery to ordain as a nun and began cultivating through daily meditation. Over time, her clarity grew, and with it, the realisation of the spiritual manipulation she had endured.
Despite her growth in Dhamma, jealousy from the other wives — amplified by years of unseen competition — caused her increasing emotional and spiritual distress. Isolated and overwhelmed, she eventually took her own life. Her death was not peaceful. Although monks in the temple performed daily merit chanting, it became clear the spirit remained, bound by unresolved emotion and a mixture of love, betrayal, and deep karmic entanglement.
Por Sala Tan was called in after efforts to pacify her through standard rituals proved insufficient. He identified the lingering spirit and proposed a respectful resolution: to anchor her essence into a paneang relic, not to imprison it, but to preserve and transform it. Ironically, the only image that calmed her was that of Khun Pean Dam, the very man whose energy bound her. Her final emotional tether — love — was also her path to peace.
Por Sala Tan consecrated the piece using the following:
-
Chanting beads once worn by Khun Pean Dam, which retained his personal seneh resonance.
-
Tarkruts and seneh oils, added to amplify the charm effect and allow the piece to function as a potent seneh support.
-
The paneang relic, sealed within, holding the emotional signature of a spirit whose love and heartbreak were never ordinary.
This is a powerful seneh-specific amulet, designed to heighten attraction, attention, and connection, especially in personal and social domains. However, it is not recommended to wear alone. The piece draws from a deep well of emotional intensity and should be paired with a mainstream baramee amulet to maintain energetic stability. Without a proper baramee anchor, wearers may experience energetic drain, as the seneh effect works by drawing in energy to influence others.
