Of all the barang in my collection, this Khun Pean Tid Jai holds a special place in my heart — because this was the very first piece I ever obtained from Por Sala Tan.

At the time, I was already married, and I received this amulet in an old plastic casing. It wasn’t fancy. There was no silver frame, no spotlight. Just pure energy. I still remember what Por Sala Tan said when handing it over:
“Test it in the city.”

I didn’t quite know what to expect, but after a long drive back to Chiang Mai, I stopped by a local stall, bought a simple string necklace, slipped the Tid Jai on, and headed out to the clubs and night markets.

That night, something happened.

After softly chanting Por Sala Tan’s signature Tid Jai Katha, the energy activated. Almost immediately, locals I had never met started calling me over — warm invitations to sit, eat, and drink at their tables. (I don’t drink alcohol, but their generosity was overwhelming.) It wasn’t just seneh — it was connection, instant comfort, and charisma.

The next day, I flew back to Bangkok, wore it again… same effect. Crowds. Conversations. Invitations.

I was so startled by the intensity that I removed it and kept it aside. For years.
Until just last week.

While digging through my old barang box, I found it again. The memories hit instantly. I decided it was time to honor it properly — and had it custom framed in silver.

This was the first piece from Por Sala Tan’s Tid Jai series that I ever owned. Since then, I’ve been quietly collecting more from this series, each one holding its own unique force — but this one remains special.
It opened the door. It made me a believer.
