Ritual Mala of Baramee – Used by Por Sala Tan in 3 Major Consecrations
Not just a sacred object… but a power source of pure baramee, this ritual mala made from Gaduk Chang was personally used by Por Sala Tan in three of his most important ceremonies:
First Batch of Naman Prai (5 Prai)
Kuman Prai Roon Reak 2550
Suthai Batch – Phayant and Locket
These ceremonies were not ordinary blessings. Each involved deep wicha, ancient incantations, and the calling of energies that required tremendous spiritual authority (baramee). While certain rituals used malas of yin nature like coffin wood to anchor prai energy, these three required yang, leadership-type energy — hence, this Gaduk Chang mala was chosen.
🐅 A Mala With Tiger Baramee
Por Sala Tan invoked Lersi Ser Ming Pai, the tiger-headed Lersi, for many consecrations — a force of fierce protection, power, and spiritual command. This mala, having been used in those chants, now carries that tiger essence and still resonates with the force of Lersi energy.
It is not a prai-based item. There are no spirits attached — making it safe, mainstream-friendly, and yet incredibly potent for those who wish to amplify the energy of their own amulets or altar.
🧘 Passed Down and Preserved with Purity
After Por Sala Tan’s passing, this sacred mala was kept by Ajarn Lek, stored respectfully in a box on his altar. Occasionally, Ajarn would chant and meditate with a thread connected to the box — never disturbing the mala’s stored energy, only reinforcing it.
When I received it, it was with the understanding that it is more than a keepsake — it is a living conductor of baramee. Holding this mala on your altar, or simply placing it near your other amulets, can amplify their strength — be it yin-based prai pieces, or yang-focused mainstream talismans.
This is not a commercial mala. It is a ritual tool with lineage, and a piece of Por Sala Tan’s legacy.
If you feel called to bring this to your altar, know that you’re bringing home a vessel of true baramee — blessed, used, and preserved with purpose.
