The wood used for this piece came from what local masters unanimously agree was a 1-in-100,000 tree: a naturally occurring specimen exhibiting the dual spiritual essences of mai rak (ไม้รัก – wood of love/attraction) and mai payoom (ไม้พยุง – wood of prosperity).

In the Southern Thai esoteric tradition, mai rak is chosen for paladkhik meant to draw partners, form bonds, and build affection, while mai payoom is selected for wealth enhancement, deal-making, and career success.
