Pidta Lae Sivali – Luang Phor Prasit, Wat Paa Moo Mai (Chiang Mai)
Infused with Hair Relics, 108 Sacred Powders & Manifested Sivali Relic
This rare and highly revered amulet was blessed and created by Luang Phor Prasit, the former abbot of Wat Paa Moo Mai, Chiang Mai, and a direct spiritual descendant in the lineage of Phra Ajahn Mun Bhuridatta Mahathera, the father of Thailand’s forest meditation tradition.
🕯️ Biography of the Master
-
Born: 5 March 2484 BE (1941 CE)
-
Passed: 31 July 2559 BE (2016 CE)
Luang Phor Prasit was widely regarded as one of the few living monks during his time who embodied the depth of meditative mastery reminiscent of the early Thai forest saints. In 2545 BE, a remarkable event drew national attention: during a routine medical examination, X-rays revealed that one of LP Prasit's hands had crystallized into relic-like substance — an incident widely reported in Thai newspapers and regarded as miraculous even by skeptics.
Following that, he was respectfully referred to by devotees and fellow monks as a "Living Arahant", someone who embodied the realization of Dhamma in both mind and form.
🔮 Spiritual Features of This Amulet
This Pidta Lae Sivali piece is both symbolically and energetically significant, incorporating the following sacred components:
-
Hair Relics of Luang Phor Prasit – Carefully preserved and inserted into the amulet during consecration, these embody the living spiritual charge of the master.
-
108 Types of Sacred Powders – A standard in powerful amulet construction, these include:
-
Pong Phra Somdej
-
Pong Phuttakun
-
Herbal and earth powders collected from sacred sites and previous lineages
-
Ashes from Dhamma books and yantras used by Ajahn Mun’s disciples
-
-
Sivali Relic on the Reverse – During a chanting ceremony, it is reported that a series of relics began descending from the ceiling of the main prayer hall, landing in front of the Buddha image. Temple attendants carefully gathered these relics and used them sparingly during amulet production — one small fragment per piece — due to their perceived divine origin and limited quantity.
🧘♂️ Spiritual Function & Significance
-
Pidta (eyes-closed Buddha) is known for blocking spiritual harm, repelling black magic, and enhancing mental clarity and mindfulness.
-
Sivali, the arahant of abundance and safe travel, brings luck, popularity, and smoothness in worldly affairs.
-
The combination is believed to offer well-rounded protection, metta mahaniyom (loving-kindness), and uninterrupted material support.
These amulets are often favored by:
-
Merchants, travelers, and those in leadership roles
-
Devotees looking to deepen spiritual practice while remaining shielded from harmful energies
-
Individuals who value authenticity in relic-based amulets directly tied to forest lineage
🔐 Rarity and Collector Context
These amulets are increasingly hard to find, especially those that contain the original Sivali relics manifested during LP Prasit's final decades. As they were made in limited numbers and given mainly to close disciples and lay supporters, they rarely enter the secondary market.
Most holders regard them as heirloom-level spiritual items — not just for their external power, but for the connection they provide to one of Thailand’s last verifiable forest arahants.
