Rahu Amulet – LP Up, Wat Tong Sai, BE 2548
This rare amulet was created in 2548 BE (2005) by Luang Phor Up of Wat Tong Sai, a highly respected Southern master. The piece depicts Rahu, the celestial deity who devours the sun and moon during eclipses, symbolizing mastery over fate, reversal of misfortune, and dominance over unseen obstacles.
Materials and Creation
The amulet is formed from sacred powders collected and compounded under strict ritual guidelines. The back shows hand-inscribed yantra markings, drawn by LP Up himself using blessed chalk. These inscriptions were made during a lunar eclipse, a moment regarded in Thai-Buddhist cosmology as the most potent alignment for invoking Rahu. In this window of time, the veil between cosmic forces is thinnest, allowing the inscriptions to carry amplified energy and long-lasting potency.
Blessing Process
LP Up performed the consecration personally, focusing on Rahu’s unique powers:
-
Absorbing misfortune and calamity.
-
Turning obstacles into opportunities.
-
Granting dominance in business, politics, or competitive environments.
-
Shielding against curses, black magic, and malevolent forces.
The eclipse ritual is especially rare, and LP Up’s ability to seize that exact timing reflects both his knowledge and mastery.
Spiritual Function
Rahu is widely called upon in Thailand by those seeking to overturn bad luck, secure wealth from uncertain ventures, and gain influence over rivals. Businessmen, politicians, and gamblers alike hold Rahu as a patron for navigating unpredictable situations. This particular piece, being made under a lunar eclipse and inscribed directly by LP Up, embodies that core essence of transforming shadow into fortune.
