Locket Maha Chakapat created by Luang Phor Up of Wat Tong Sai is limited to just 19 pieces, Crafted with sacred relics like personal fingernail and hair clippings, pilgrimage soil, and rare handwritten Takrut Salika, it’s known for its potent protective and wish-granting qualities. This 3-inch locket, encased in premium gold valued at $1600 SGD, offers blessings for success, protection, and positive energy.
I’ve worn the lower end piece which is the squared locket containing similar materials less the Naprok and Tarkrut to good effects, I first got it in 2010 when I was buying in a collection of amulets a collector sold me over the counter and didn’t know who this Monk was but he looked familiar, without thinking much I put it in my shirt pocket and forgot about it.
That day my sales was 5 times the usual and I never thought much thinking it was just good luck. When I went home I took out all my items front he pockets and found the locket that I earlier put in and thought maybe this Monk is blessing me, the next day I put it in a proper casing and wore it, again my sales was insanely high and curious I thought long and hard finally it struck me it was Lp up I previously met him in 2006.
I’ve been wearing it since and Lp has been with me through my lowest points and after some time my life became very stable and consistently moved up financially as well as life in general. This piece really works with wish granting and till date I am still wearing the initial piece I’ve had (of course I’ve added in Lp Derm to boost my status even further)
So below are the reasons why I think this series works so well.
1. Fingernail and Hair: The fingernail and hair of Luang Phor Up are personal relics, which are highly revered as direct extensions of his life force and blessing energy. These are often viewed as essential connections to the physical and spiritual attributes of the monk, amplifying the protective power of the locket.
2. 2540 Holy Powder: This sacred powder, blessed in 2540 BE (1997), is known to contain powerful properties from an era when many holy ceremonies and consecrations took place. Amulets made with this powder are believed to have blessings that promote protection, fortune, and the fulfillment of one’s wishes.
3. Pilgrimage Soil from India: The soil collected by Luang Phor Up on his pilgrimage to India, the birthplace of Buddhism, is imbued with spiritual energies. Soil from holy sites, particularly those associated with the Buddha, is believed to enhance an amulet’s ability to impart wisdom, clarity, and spiritual blessings.
4. Handwritten Takrut Salika by Luang Phor Up: The Takrut Salika is personally inscribed by Luang Phor Up, a rare and significant detail. These inscriptions, normally delegated to his *luksits* (disciples), bear Luang Phor’s own written blessings. The Salika is especially powerful for fostering attraction and charm, making it a potent tool for improving relationships and personal magnetism.
5. Monk’s Robe (Kesa): The inclusion of Luang Phor Up's monk’s robe, worn during his spiritual practices, symbolizes humility, dedication, and wisdom. It is believed to imbue the locket with the protection and purity of the monk’s spirit.
6. Somdej and Naga Prok: The Somdej’s lead material and Naga Prok (a guardian serpent) are rare elements, primarily seen in remakes and replicas outside the temple. However, these inclusions in the authentic jumbo locket add an extra layer of protection, symbolizing guardianship, blessings, and the mystical power of the Naga, a revered deity in Thai Buddhism.
