This particular Somdej Pa Plang is often listed under Luang Phor Kuay, Wat Kositaram — and that attribution is not entirely wrong.
However, for those who seek a deeper understanding of the piece's true history, it is important to note that this batch was actually commissioned by Luang Phor Tong of Wat Pa Plang in 2519 BE.

The ceremony was not a casual one.
It was a significant gathering honoring the sacred legacy of Luang Phor Si, the revered master of Wat Pa Plang, Singburi.
Invited to empower the batch were none other than:

Luang Phor Pae of Wat Pikhuntong

Luang Phor Kuay of Wat Kositaram

Along with many direct disciples (luksit) of Luang Phor Si himself.

Over the years, because Luang Phor Kuay’s name has become the most prominent among the three, even some respected dealers and collectors — including those from Luang Phor Kuay’s own kamakan (committee) — have sold these pieces under Luang Phor Kuay’s name.
Technically, they are not wrong, but those who know the full lineage and ceremony background understand the true origins lead back to Luang Phor Tong.

What makes this batch extraordinary is not just the masters who empowered it, but the materials used.
The amulets were crafted using ancient chedi (pagoda) materials, adding a layer of sacredness rarely seen today.
I have personally visited Wat Pa Plang and documented the remnants of these old chedis — the very same structures whose relics were carefully blended into this batch.

Adding even greater significance, this batch contains monk relics (sarira) of Luang Phor Si himself, a direct physical connection to one of Singburi’s most venerated monks.

This particular piece I am offering is not just authentic — it is in 100% original condition, untouched and preserved exactly as it should be.
It honestly pains me to release it, which is why I have priced it slightly higher than market value.
Collectors who understand its rarity and spiritual weight will appreciate why.

The story behind this piece is equally meaningful.
Originally, it was worn by a young boy from Singburi, personally given to him by Luang Phor Tong himself.
As the boy grew older and became more successful, he later upgraded to a Luang Phor Kuay Wekman piece — a higher-tier item — and left this Somdej at a silver shop, where he had it framed with a thick, custom silver casing.

After five long years of unclaimed storage, the silver shop eventually released it for sale — and that is how this piece came into my possession.

Pieces with this kind of traceable history, blessed under the watch of multiple true masters, using ancient sacred materials, and carrying direct links to the golden era of Singburi wicha, are almost never seen on the open market today.
